Oliver Humphrey
Physiotherapist and sports massage therapist
Oliver holds a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University. Oliver has experience treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. In addition to his physiotherapy credentials, he is a strength coach and also a sports massage therapist.
His current focus beyond physiotherapy includes gaining knowledge in nutrition and broadening the ways in which he can support people in achieving their best health.
Oliver has a keen interest in lower limb management, particularly focusing on the leg's shock absorption and how it can improve posture and function to address issues such as knee, hip, and lower back pain. Oliver also has a special interest in the movement patterns of the pelvis and hips, as these areas are often linked to sciatica symptoms and other movement-related
issues.
Taking a holistic approach to treatment, Oliver will assess you and your movements to understand how it works as a whole, using targeted exercises and manual therapy, including massage to restore movement and achieve pain-free mobility.
He has experience working with sports teams like Oxford Harlequins RFC and rowing programs at Twickenham Rowing Club and Oxford Brookes University. Oliver has been a competitive athlete himself, qualifying for the GB rowing team and competing in national events like the Ghent Regatta. Having sustained a meniscal injury, he has personal experience with
rehabilitation, which gives him a deep understanding of recovery. He is committed to helping individuals, whether they are athletes or those with long-term injuries, return to peak condition.
“I am passionate about helping people reach their highest potential and enjoy all the activities they love, whether that’s pushing themselves in sports and the gym or being able to move comfortably and pain-free in everyday life, as I do.”
